Backend & APIs
The part users never see, and always feel.
Nobody compliments a backend. They just notice when logging in is slow, when a payment goes through twice, or when the data in two screens disagrees.
We build the APIs, databases and infrastructure underneath products, either as part of a full build or as the missing half of something a front-end team is already working on.
What we build
REST APIs
Clear, predictable endpoints that a web or mobile client can be built against without guesswork.
Authentication and roles
Sign-in, sessions and permissions, including who is allowed to see and change what.
Database architecture
A data model that still makes sense after a year of features nobody had planned.
Third-party integrations
Connecting the services your product depends on, and handling it when they fail.
Payment APIs
Payment flows built carefully, because this is where quiet bugs cost real money.
Notification systems
Email, push and messaging triggered by what actually happens in the product.
Microservices
Split apart when the size of the system justifies it, not because it is fashionable.
Cloud infrastructure
Environments, deployment and monitoring, so releases are routine rather than risky.
How we work

Discover
We understand your business, users, requirements and goals.
- 02
Plan
We define the product architecture, features, user flows and technical direction.
- 03
Design
We design a clean, intuitive interface in Figma, built around your users.
- 04
Build
Our engineers turn the product into reliable, production-ready software.
- 05
Test
We test functionality, responsiveness, performance and real-world usage.
- 06
Launch
We deploy, monitor and help your product move into production.

Questions
Can you build only the backend?
Yes. If you already have a front-end team or a designer, we can build the API and infrastructure and work to an agreed contract for the endpoints.
Can you fix or extend an API we already have?
Often, yes. Send us the repository or the documentation, and we will tell you what can be extended and what is genuinely better rebuilt.
Do we get documentation?
Yes. An API nobody can read is only half delivered, so the endpoints and how to call them are written down as part of the work.
Will it handle growth?
We build for the scale you can see coming, not an imaginary one. Over-engineering for traffic that never arrives is a common and expensive mistake, so we design it to be changed later.
